Building Intelligence Quotient

CABA's Building Intelligence Quotient (BiQ) is an affordable and easy to use online Intelligent Building ranking tool. The BiQ Certification Process increases market penetrability of Intelligent Building technology with building owners, operators, managers and designers by demonstrating value and providing guidance.

The BIQ is provided by CABA and the Building Intelligence Quotient Consortium (BiQC). The Consortium members are experts in their respective fields who are currently engaging their fellow CABA Intelligent & Integrated Buildings Council (IIBC) members in developing the infrastructure for the Building Intelligence Certification Process.



CABA has introduced awards to showcase buildings that excel in design and technical operation. The BiQ Awards will annually honor property owners, managers, operators and designers whose buildings achieve the highest rank using CABA's Building Intelligent Quotient.  

CABA will hold its first CABA BiQ Awards at AHR 2012 in Chicago, IL.  The awards presentation will take place on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 during a meeting of CABA's Intelligent & Integrated Buildings Council.
