Dan Hogan is President of the Panasonic Home & Environment Company, a subsidary designed to expand the range of products and services Panasonic offers to home builders, residential renovation contractors and their suppliers.

Previously, he was Director of Panasonic Boston Laboratory, the only pure hardware coporate R&D lab maintained by Matsushita Group outside of Japan. The lab's core competence is lasers and optics; with special emphasis on ultrashort pulse laser processing and micro-optics design and fabrication.

Mr. Hogan received his BS from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and his Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from Oxford University in the United Kingdom.
