    CABA, through its Intelligent & Integrated Buildings Council, will hold a webinar on its Intelligent Buildings in North America Roadmap research project on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 1 pm ET. Through a collaborative process, the primary objectives of the project will be to: strengthen the existing industry knowledge base and perspectives on intelligent buildings; understand the collective influence on the roadmap for intelligent buildings of emerging trends in the industry such as, energy efficiency, renewable technology, IT convergence and the integration of buildings with the smart grid; understand the influence of current and emerging trends on smart technologies and solutions, market preference and acceptance; and investigate the current and future direction of the intelligent buildings market in North America, and the opportunities it represents for participants of the value chain.     CABA's Connected Home Research Council's Advisory Board has decided to move the CH-RC Digital Home Ecosystem Forum to a new date. It was scheduled for March 3 and will now be held Wed, May 5, 2010. We are pleased that the event will still be hosted by Microsoft Corporation and have also been able to confirm that Orly Cocco, from Procter & Gamble, will be attending and moderating the ideation roundtable session.     CABA, through its Connected Home Research Council, will hold a webinar on its NextGen Widgets research project on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 3:30 pm ET. Through a collaborative process, the primary objectives of the project will be to understand consumers' opinions, attitudes, and beliefs, and to determine generational differences and adoption enablers, to examine daily utilization of widgets (the seamless integration of screen content and interactivity on PCs, phones, and TVs), and to discover how potential solutions with a multi-screen strategy could provide value to consumers and what their evolutionary trajectory could be.     The Continental Automated Buildings Association will be exhibiting at AHR Expo in Orlando, FL.  Visit us at booth #1222  to learn about the services we offer to our membership and about collaborative research opportunities.   CABA will also hold its next Intelligent & Integrated Buildings Council (IIBC) meeting during AHR Expo on Jan. 25, 2010 between 3-5 pm in Room S330D in the Orlando Convention Center.  The meeting will focus on CABA's intelligent building initiatives and feature a presentation on the release of CABA's latest research project: "Market Sizing North America / Intelligent and Integrated Technologies".
