Smart Home as a Service

“We stepped up to sponsor the CABA Smart Home as a Service report because as one of the leaders in home environmental controls, it is important to help the whole smart home ecosystem move forward with as much interoperability and interconnection as possible. Discovery is that first step to developing the responsive, efficient and rewarding home that will help families thrive. Future sustainability depends on this.”

- Laurie Adams, IoT Marketing Manager, Rheem.

This study intends to provide a comprehensive examination of all aspects of Smart Home as a Service (SHaaS). The outcomes will provide a clearer understanding of the connected home landscape and the opportunities and solutions available to drive revenues.

Utilizing both qualitative (in-depth interviews) and quantitative (consumer or industry questionnaires) methods, the research provides actionable data relevant to: the state of the market, key industry players business opportunities, technical barriers and opportunities, future market direction, issues, use-cases and industry recommendations. The final report is slated for publication in February 2020.
