The ASHB Board of Directors are pleased to announce that the “ASHB Privacy and Cybersecurity in the Connected Home” Landmark Research Project will have its first Steering Committee meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2020. The research will be carried out by Frost & Sullivan, a ASHB member, and examine various aspects of privacy and cybersecurity as they relate to the connected home industry. The outcomes will provide actionable data relevant to the state of the market, key industry players business opportunities, technical barriers and opportunities, future market direction, issues, use-cases and industry recommendations. ASHB Members Acuity Brands, Inc., the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CSA Group, Community Smart Living Inc. (powered by Netex), Resideo Technologies, Inc., and SnapAV have joined as funders. Contact ASHB’s Research Director, Greg Walker ([email protected]), for more information on becoming a funder. Organizations can join this project for as little as $3K.
