Connected Home Roadmap (2019)

Harbor Research, Inc. was commissioned by CABA to study the current state and future roadmap for the smart home market. The resulting report provides an understanding of understand how use cases, customer environments and buying behaviors, and evolving ecosystem interactions all impact and influence the development of the connected home market. Parallel quantitative and qualitative primary analysis were undertaken along with supplementary market research and analysis; a consumer survey was developed and administered with over 2,000 respondents. The outcomes of this report provide a clear understanding of the trends and forces influencing the direction of the connected home, as well as lay out potential paths and maneuvers for stakeholders looking to take advantage of the market opportunities that exist.
